Forestpark Kids' VBS 2014 will start on Sunday this year! New Dates: July 6-10
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Louisville, Ky: We have just received word that the dates of Forestpark Kids' Vacation Bible School 2014 have been changed! VBS will now be held from July 6 (Sunday) through July 10th (Thursday).
Organizers say that they shifted the event back by one day in order to give families Friday off. "Sunday evening will be a fun time to start VBS this year!" said Mary Conver, VBS Director, "Kids will get a chance to see some of the decorations on Sunday Morning, and then go have lunch with their family, and report back for their first Training Session on Sunday evening at 6:30. Plus, this way everyone will have all day (and night) Friday to spend with their families. We have found that lots of families are using Friday to prepare for vacation."
The "Training Session" Conver refers to, is in reference to the theme of Forestpark's VBS this year: "Agency D3," which is a Secret Agency devoted to Training kids to Discover, Decide, and Defend the Truth about Jesus Christ.
The Vacation Bible School, will be held from July 6-10, nightly from 6:30-9:00pm. Thursday evening will include a "Parent's Night" activity. (Details to follow.)
Forestpark Community Church is located at: 5012 S Watterson Trail in the Fern Creek Neighborhood, just off Bardstown Rd, between Wildwood Country Club and Woodhaven Country Club.
